One of my favorite place we’ve visit in Israel is the House of High Priest Caiaphas. As we are walking on our way one question pop up in my mind and still don’t find the answer, and that question is “Why is there a dungeon under the house of a high priest.
No words can describe how much Jesus loves us. Imagine he choose to stay on a dark pit and waited for His crucifixion the next day. The fact that He can ask God to save Him from that smelly dark place. As I kept on putting my self on Jesus situation one thing I’ve realize that is “There is no reason for us to make excuses in serving Him and fulfilling His call in our lives.
I’d been in so many places but this one is what I can say it’s worth saving for…
We spent 10 days of walking to the footsteps of Jesus, from the Sea of Galilee through out Jerusalem.
We filled each day with so much memories that it will takes a lifetime to think about it.
I’m so in loved with this country. From the places that we visits to the food and to the hospitality of my new Jewish friend. As in everything in Israel you will surely loved.
I enjoyed walking where Jesus walk and learned the customs during Jesus Time.
We sailed to the Sea of Galilee where Jesus spent most of His ministry, We also prayed on the Caiaphas Dungeon where Jesus stays his last night, We also celebrated communion and prayed for the sick at the middle of the Garden Tomb and Golgotha.
As I went home one thing that I’m sure of, I will definitely go back… and surely I will never read my Bible the same way again.
Wooden Spoon by Chef Sandy Daza was making a name when he first open his first branch at Katipunan and ever since I’ve been wanting to try it. And finally last December 2014 he open his branch at West Capitol, Pasig.
About the ambiance of the place I find it so cool and homey. I love their shabby chic concept of their interior and their creativity on their furniture.

The crew are very accommodating even when Chef Sandy left the resto.
About the food it ranges from 150-250 good for two pax per serving (not bad diba?). There is nothing special on their menu. They serves typical filipino food with a twist and it is much more different from our lutong bahay. Here are the food that we ordered…

KANTO Freestyle Breakfast in Kapitolyo it happens to be a garage that has been converted in a 24 hrs breakfast dine-in restaurant. It amazed me that even at around 10pm we have to line up and waited for 15 mins. for us to be seated.
The interior are very simple and I think it fits on the name of their restaurant.
They don’t served a typical “silog” breakfast but a Gourmet type of menu.

A must try… not that good ambiance but definitely you are paying for a good food.

Barbara’s is a restaurant located inside the old walls of Intramuros Manila just in front of San Agustin Church. It serves not only good filipino food but also cultural dance showcasing Philippine folk dances.
I love their interior it makes me feel that i was transported during the spanish era with their vintage decor, glass chandeliers, old styled chairs and tables topped with white knitted cloth.
THE BUFFET 🙂
They had limited choices in their buffet but still i loved it. 🙂 The food are typical filipino food.
To start with I had vegetable salad. It was simple but it’s a must i so love it.
The Cultural Show:
One of the highlight of the night was the cultural show where they showcase different filipino folk dance.
I think it’s one of the best place to where you should bring your foreign guest.

It was one Saturday afternoon when boyfie and I got lost and only to find out that we are in Fairview, Quezon City. 😀 So for us not to spoil the day I remember a Shawarma Eatery along the area. I only had been there once so we have to google the exact address hehehe 😀
When we reached the place it surprises me because it triples the size of their place. Grabe and that was only 1 year ago… =)No wonder it grows =)
It was one of the best Shawarma Eatery I’ve tried. 😀 There shawarma is available in different varieties such as Beef, Pork and Chicken… =) Each varieties have their own set of dishes. They have Sizzling, Special with cheese, Regular without cheese and all meat.
What I love in their shawarma is that it is big and full of veggies unlike the others that we’ve tried. =) When it comes to the sauce it comes in two flavors, the regular and spicy.Special beef Shawarma Php. 75.00
One of there best seller is their Sizzling shawarma but unfortunately i haven’t tried it but according to one of my friend it was sooooooo gooooood =)Sizzling Shawarma Php. 100.00
It was another happy tummy for us… =) It was far but all we can say is, It’s worth a try and we definitely looking forward to dine here again =)…
